KGB Agent Vladimir Leoniv
KGB agent Vladimir Leoniv was born in Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia in 1943. At the age of 7, he was sent to a military school in Moscow, Russia where he exceeded in politics and espionage for the cold war, which had just started. By the age of 20 in 1963 he was fighting espionage in North Korea, and has since been a large figure in undercover work and espionage in the war.
Not much is known of his expeditions, and he keeps everything classified. He is known to carry a small radio, and a Makarov pistol in his belt, hidden by his shirt. He has had known espionage missions in Cambodia, The United States, The Soviet Union and Paris. He is known to work with a partner, and only do espionage missions at night. If he does do the rare day job, he moves silently and unnoticed, like smoke, earning his nickname, "Быстро", or "Bystro" in English.
Leoniv at age 31, in Georgia
In 1971, Leoniv and his partner, with help of the KGB, tried to secretly buy three banks in northern California to gain access to high-technology secrets. However, their efforts were thwarted by the CIA. The banks were Peninsula National Bank in Burlingame, the First National Bank of Fresno, and the Tahoe National Bank in South Lake Tahoe. These banks had made numerous loans to advanced technology companies and had many of their officers and directors as clients. They used the Moscow Narodny Bank Limited to finance the acquisition.
Leoniv assassinated the enemies of the USSR—principally Soviet Bloc defectors, either directly or by aiding Communist country secret services—the (alleged) air-crash assassination of Dag Hammarskjöld in 1961; the surreptitious ricin poisoning of the Bulgarian émigré Georgi Markov, shot with an umbrella-gun of KGB design, in 1975, and supposedly John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
During the world war he has been known to stay in either France, The southern US, or the USSR. Little is known to what he has done, and there are archives of his plans for sabotage on the US.
